The compensation for the Dax bosses increased by almost seven percent last year. Even blatant failures as in the car industry only lead to small dents. Other criteria give further impetus.

The 40 CEOs of the Dax-Groups earn well, even very well compared to the employees of the companies. Even if the salaries increase again on average: CEOs collect much more in the USA.
SAP CEO Christian Klein remains the top earner in the DAX. However, in 2025, other board members of the large corporations again received more money. This is shown by an evaluation of shareholder protectors.
The CEOs in the Dax earned an average of 6.1 million euros last year. In the American Dow Jones, the average was even over 30 million euros.
Including bonuses, almost four million euros of annual salary are received on average by Dax Group members. Two bosses exceed the 10 million mark.
