Tom Holland To Lead "Penthouse" Film
Sony is developing the thriller as a starring vehicle for Tom Holland after Spider-Man: Brand New Day passed $2 billion worldwide, Sony said.
- Sony Pictures has pre-emptively acquired the original thriller 'Penthouse', which will star Tom Holland and be developed by his production company Billy17 alongside screenwriter Drew Pearce.
- Following the record-breaking success of 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', which grossed over $2 billion, the deal strengthens the established partnership between Holland and Sony.

- While plot details remain under wraps, the film adds to Holland's slate, which includes an upcoming Fred Astaire biopic co-starring Margaret Qualley, Sabrina Carpenter, and Talia Ryder.
- Speculation persists regarding a potential return as Peter Parker in 'Avengers: Doomsday', though unconfirmed. Additionally, Holland is attached to 'The Thomas Crown Affair' remake.
