Three-Vehicle Crash in Klamath County Claims One Life

The van crossed into the path of a northbound Peterbilt commercial motor vehicle. The ensuing collision was head-on, propelling the Ford van backward into a Ford Focus. Scott Lane Nelson, a passenger in the Ford E Conoline, sustained critical injuries in the crash. Nelson was declared deceased. The driver of the Ford Focus suffered minor injuries and was also transported to an area hospital.
