Sheila Schmidt is $15,000 richer after her duck proved to be the fastest, winning the 2026 Meadow Ridge Rotary Duck Race. The 15th annual race, which saw thousands of rubber ducks race along the Alouette River in Maple Ridge Park, took place Sunday afternoon.
