Thousands of well-preserved prosauropod dinosaur footprints were discovered near Winter Olympic venues, marking the first find of its kind in Lombardy, researchers said.

The thousands of dinosaur tracks were located close to where the 2026 Olympics are scheduled to take place, the Milan Natural History Museum said.
