It's been nearly a decade since point-and-click mysteryThimbleweed Park was released to critical acclaim. While the game did receive a small spinoff in 2020 that wrapped up some loose threads, the classic adventure game seemed finished. So it came as a surprise on Thursday when creator Ron Gilbert announced a sequel is in development.

Hark! I bring word of some good news for those of you with an appetite for adventure games with tasty pixel art. You may remember that Monkey Island creator Ron Gilbert was working on a game that was described as "Classic Zelda meets Diablo meets Thimbleweed Park."
