They Offer to Vaccinate Pets Against Rabies in Cook County After Infected Animals Are Found

Cook County authorities alert residents to keeping rabies vaccines up to date in their pets, after a bat carrying rabies was found in a suburb of southwestern Chicago. The bat was found near Saint Xavier College in Oak Lawn. Cook County has launched a free rabies vaccination day from August to October at different clinics. In addition to the free rabies vaccination day for a year, they will offer microchip service for pets at no cost.
