An estimated 400,000 residents are expected to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta and 9,035 personnel are on guard around the National Monument (Monas) and the State Palace.
Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi appealed to all members of the public to enliven the 80th Indonesian Independence Day People's Party at the National Monument (Monas) area in Central Jakarta on August 17, 2025.
