Civilians in the temporarily Russian-occupied town of Oleshky have been cut off from food, water, and medicine for four months under what Ukrainian representatives describe as a total mine-and-drone blockade.
Around 2,000 Ukrainian civilians are trapped in the Russian-occupied town of Oleshki in Kherson Oblast. The humanitarian crisis has become so severe that individual residents are trying to flee on foot over mined roads.
"There is no meat, flour, oil and butter, ready-made bread and other basic necessities in the city," claims the exiled head of the Ukrainian military administration of Oleshki, Tetiana Hasanenko.
