JPNN.com, JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance stated that the realization of the 2026 State Budget (APBN) deficit is moving in line with the initial design (on track).
The September 2026 state budget deficit reached Rp319 trillion, or 1.24 percent of GDP. Finance Minister Suahasil stated that the deficit is on track, with state revenue growing 25.5 percent annually.
"As of the end of September, our budget performance was quite good. State revenue had collected Rp2,341 trillion. The end of September marks three-quarters of the year. So, if state revenue has collected 74 percent, it means we're on track," said the Minister of Finance at the 2026 Investor Daily Summit in Jakarta on Thursday (October 8, 2026).
