A former deputy to the Polish Minister of Justice, wanted for alleged corruption offences, is currently in Tiraspol, in the pro-Transnistrian separatist region. Marcin Romanowski revealed his location in a letter addressed to a Warsaw court, in which he offered to appear before the Polish authorities, but on one condition.
In order to escape the access of the security authorities, Polish ex-minister Marcin Romanowski flees to Hungary. But there is no protection for him since Viktor Orban's election. Meanwhile, the PiS politician has moved on.
According to the prosecutor's office in Warsaw, Romanowski offered his return to his home country in a letter.
