Three small satellites have been launched into orbit as part of the Polish Ministry of Defense's MikroGLOB program, Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced on Friday.
MikroGlob microsatellites 2, 3, and 4 have been launched into orbit and communication has been established, announced Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. He emphasized that the constellation purchased by the Armed Forces will increase the ability to acquire reconnaissance and imaging data.
The Polish Army's constellation of spy satellites is now complete. The final three observation satellites of the MikroGLOB system were launched into orbit by a SpaceX rocket.
