CAVA Group Q2 Earnings Call Highlights
The chain said revenue climbed 31.3% to $365.4 million as guest traffic rose 5.3% and it reaffirmed its 2026 outlook.
On Tuesday, Cava Group beat Wall Street expectations with second-quarter revenue of $365.4 million, a 31.3% increase that sent shares up about 12% in extended trading.
A 9% increase in same-restaurant sales, driven by 5.3% higher guest traffic, fueled growth alongside 17 net new restaurant openings that expanded Cava's total footprint to 476 locations.
Chief Executive Officer Brett Schulman reported adjusted EBITDA rose 30% to $54.7 million, while net income reached $23 million, representing a 25.3% increase versus the prior year.
While customer anxiety over a multistate cyclospora outbreak temporarily impacted sales, Schulman noted the chain was not directly affected and demand has begun to rebound.
Cava maintained its full-year 2026 forecast, projecting same-restaurant sales growth of 4.5% to 6.5% and adjusted EBITDA between $181 million and $191 million.
