The “Staro Brdo” horse shelter in Lapovo, the only one in Serbia, is a place where humane people take care of abandoned horses. Željko and Violeta have been actively volunteering in the asylum for ten years, in order to provide horses with a quality life until natural death. They started rescuing horses, and now they have donkeys, pigs, but also a buffalo in the asylum.
