Iraqi Oil Minister Basim Mohammed Khudaire announced that under the agreement signed with Turkey on August 1st, existing agreements have been extended for one year and the target is to export over 700,000 barrels of oil per day. Khudaire stated that they plan to prepare a draft long-term framework agreement within this one-year period.
The extension includes the common objective of substantially increasing the flow of oil from 180,000 barrels a day to 750,000 barrels, as explained by Turkey's Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar.
