The siege began October 23 following a shooting attack that killed two Israeli soldiers and wounded three others; Israeli forces later killed the two attackers.
More than 3,300 Palestinians were displaced or otherwise affected, particularly in Al-Jalda and Ein Deir Baha, while the Hebron Governorate reported 15 homes and other structures were demolished.
Palestinian security forces have taken full control of the area, and Governor Khaled Dudin announced authorities are working to provide conditions for residents to return safely.
The Hebron Governorate stated the operation disrupted education and caused extensive damage to infrastructure and the local economy, compounding the humanitarian toll.
This morning, the Israeli occupying forces withdrew from the neighbourhoods that they broke into and besieged in the city of Hebron in the south of the West Bank, after 10 days of military aggression, which caused extensive damage to infrastructure and citizens ' homes and forced hundreds of families to flee forcibly.
