The Montenegrin parliament is set to discuss the dismissal of President Andrija Mandić on September 24 after he expressed condolences over the death of convicted war criminal Ratko Mladić. The extraordinary session was initiated by the opposition, which managed to gather support even within the ruling majority, causing a new political crisis in the country.

His removal does not require an absolute majority of representatives, or at least 41 votes out of a total of 81, but rather a majority of those present at the session.
