The municipality of Utrecht takes a hit with the spread law: must quickly arrange more than 1,000 asylum reception places - Nieuwlechts.nl

The municipality of Utrecht faces the challenge of finding 1,071 additional places for asylum seekers, as a result of the adopted Distribution Act. These new places should be available by mid-2025, but the municipality doubts whether this is feasible and is therefore striving for at least 574 new places.
