AUSTRIA - Five Tyrolean glaciers have opened the new ski season. The Pitztal glacier is currently preparing for the Sölden race, the opening event of the World Cup, with several stars including Mikaela Shiffrin and Marco Odermatt. Skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts can look forward to legendary slopes such as Schwarze Schneid and Black Ibex, attractive events and unusual experiences in the Natural Ice Palace in Hintertux.
