- On Saturday, HBO announced the casting of Actor John Goodman, Ian Alexander, and Laura Bailey for Season 3 of The Last of Us, marking The Last of Us Day celebration on Sept 26.
- Following the departure of co-creator Neil Druckmann after Season 2, series showrunner Craig Mazin has planned this upcoming Season as the final installment, expected in 2027.
