During the pre-election period, the HDZ tries to give the impression of unity in the party, but in the ninth constituency, which until now was the stronghold of the party, part of the influential HDZ members rebelled against the proposal of the list sent to Zagreb by the leader of Zadar County Bozidar Kalmeta.
