LockerRoom: The Football Fern legend and the washed-up medal
Michele Cox won two German Cup titles with TSV Siegen in the 1980s and 1990s. The medal washed up in the garage of her Mt Eden home. Cox and her mother Barbara were the first mother and daughter in the world to play together in a football international. Suzanne McFadden was there when she saved it from the skip bin.
