Many firefighters are mobilized on Thursday at the site of the Catholic private lycée des Chartreux in Lyon, affected by a fire since Wednesday night. The damage is enormous.
The fire broke out in a wing of the main school. It was about 21 hours. More than 150 students had to be evacuated.
Important means were mobilized in the evening to fight the fire which was declared around 9 p.m. in a building of the Chartreux Institution in the Croix-Rousse district.
According to the prefecture, 150 pupils had to be evacuated; however, there were no injuries and the fire was still not controlled.
