Regarding the latest situation on the country's roads, Brigadier General Ahmad Karami-Assad stated: "Due to heavy traffic on the (north-south) route of Chalus Road and the Tehran-North Freeway on the last day of the holidays, from 12 noon today, September 28, all vehicles on the (south-north) route of these two axes will be prohibited until further notice."
