I have a new column this week on OnlySky. It’s about America’s descent into a new dark age – and I don’t use this word lightly – of stupidity. The far right populisms have been markedly anti-scientific. Former President Jair Bolsonaro was widely regarded as “the greatest threat to Brazil’s response to covid” by scorning solid scientific evidence, resulting in numerous deaths.
