A CBOS poll shows that over half of Poles have a negative view of the justice system. Respondents were able to provide reasons for this opinion.
More than half of Poles have a negative opinion of the justice system, according to a CBOS poll. Sluggishness, excessively long and untimely proceedings, a shortage of judges, and general disarray are just some of the problems of the "third power" cited by respondents.
As many as 61% of Poles have a negative opinion of the justice system, while only 26% give it a positive rating. Courts are operating at an increasingly slow pace, trust in judicial independence remains low, and all major political constituencies are critical of a system that has been consuming increasing amounts of money for years but failing to deliver justice to citizens in a timely manner.
