The 2027 Polaris Off Road lineup brings industry firsts to any terrain or task
The turbocharged side-by-side tops the segment with 275 horsepower, while the reworked XPEDITION adds a pneumatic continuously variable transmission to cut noise.
On August 3, 2026, Polaris Off Road unveiled its 2027 model year lineup, introducing advancements in performance, capability, and technology across the company's off-road vehicle segments.
Headlining the new lineup is the RZR Pro R Boost, featuring a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that delivers 275 horsepower and 223 pound-feet of torque at 6,000 RPM.
For the XPEDITION, Polaris introduced NUMATIX, an industry-first pneumatic CVT system; Dave Elia, Product Director for Recreational Brands at Polaris, said it provides "a quieter ride while also improving the acceleration."
Joining the lineup is the Sportsman 500, a value-focused ATV starting at $6,999, which features a 2,500-pound winch and up to 11.5 inches of ground clearance.
Most 2027 Polaris Off-Road vehicles carry a factory one-year limited warranty reinforcing rider confidence, with XPEDITION dealer shipments beginning in August 2026.
Polaris presents its 2027 range with three different protagonists: the powerful RZR Pro R Boost, the technological XPEDITION and the accessible Sportsman 500
