Tesco Reveal Huge Clubcard Expansion so Customers Can Earn More Points
Tesco said members can now earn points with more than 500 partner brands, with some offers worth up to four points per pound spent.
On Wednesday, Tesco expanded its Clubcard scheme by adding more than 500 new Points Partners, including Nike and Ticketmaster, dramatically increasing where members can earn rewards.
Tesco partnered with loyalty specialist Valuedynamx to deliver the platform, moving beyond the previous limit of only 13 external Points Partners where members could collect rewards.
Points rates vary by retailer, with Nike offering up to four points per £1 spent, meaning a £100 purchase yields 400 points; members access new partners through the Clubcard website.
Converting 400 points into a £4 voucher allows members to potentially receive £12 in value when exchanged with seven restaurant Clubcard Reward Partners.
Membership Director Shama Wilson said the expansion helps customers "collect points on spending they are planning to do" ahead of Black Friday and Christmas.
