TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Multiple explosions struck Saudi Arabia’s Yanbu Industrial City on Sunday as the kingdom faced mounting pressure to restore a major east-west oil pipeline shut down after drone attacks, with traders warning that Riyadh could soon struggle to maintain crude exports.
According to current reports, smoke is currently coming from the refinery in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia – a pumping station operated by SaudiAramco and ExxonMobil on the East-West pipeline right on the Red Sea coast – a key hub for oil transportation. This is reported by the Bild newspaper, for example.
