Nacon removes multiplayer co-op and cancels Early Access to focus on a complete Terminator experience, delaying the open-world game beyond 2025 with no new release date.
- On Tuesday, Nacon Studio Milan announced Terminator: Survivors is indefinitely delayed, removing its planned ship date and confirming it won't launch in 2025 or have Early Access.
- After months of internal testing and discussions with players and fans, Nacon concluded cooperative multiplayer must be set aside to focus on a complete and polished experience, Marco Ponte said.
- Multiplayer co-op would have allowed survival with up to three friends but was cut, while demo progress will carry over and closed playtests are recruiting players for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X | S.
- Nacon said it will announce a new release date when ready and added `We’ll be back with more news as soon as we can`, while directing players to sign up for closed playtests.
- Originally revealed in July 2022, Survivors had an October 24, 2024 release date before an August 2024 delay moved it into 2025 with two weeks left to launch, while Terminator 2D: No Fate launched last week.
