The best Slovenian tennis player Veronika Erjavec successfully started her performances at the WTA 250 tournament in Guangzhou. In the first round, Erjavec defeated the third seed, German Tatjana Maria, in three sets, 6:4, 6:7 (7) and 6:2. Kaja Juvan, however, had to qualify and successfully made it to the main tournament today.
