No. 15 Tennessee Rallies in 4th Quarter to Beat Arkansas 24-17
On Saturday, the 14th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks 24-17 in Fayetteville, securing their first win at Razorback Stadium since 2001.
Sophomore George MacIntyre started in place of usual starter Faizon Brandon, who dealt with a troubling shoulder injury, and threw for 247 yards in his first career start.
MacIntyre's 68-yard pass to tight end DaSaahn Brame set up Brame's 1-yard touchdown run for a 17-14 lead, but Arkansas kicker Max Bryant tied it 17-17 with a 55-yard field goal.
Running back DeSean Bishop sparked the final drive with a 59-yard run, capping it with an 8-yard touchdown to put Tennessee up 24-17 with 1:57 remaining.
Tennessee must improve its offensive consistency if it hopes to upset Alabama next week at Neyland Stadium, while Arkansas travels to Vanderbilt on Saturday.
