Russia has fined Telegram and Google a total of 26 million rubles (approximately $313,000) for failing to remove banned content. The court fined Telegram 18.4 million rubles and Google 7.6 million rubles.

The Tagan Court of Moscow found Telegram guilty of violating the procedure for restricting access to information and imposed a fine of 3,000,000 roubles, written by SotaVision.
