Kauã Samuel Eugênio Padilha, 14 years old, died after being run over by a Federal Revenue Service vehicle on Tuesday morning (28), at km 12.7 of the East Perimeter, in the Porto Meira region, in Foz do Iguaçu. He was riding his bicycle to school and crossing the road when he was hit. At the accident site, at the access to the Brazil-Paraguay Integration Bridge, there was no signage for pedestrian crossing nor a speed reduction warning.
