Teenage Boy, 17, Has Leg Amputated Following Stabbing Incident on Bank Holiday Monday
Police are reviewing hundreds of hours of CCTV as an 18-year-old man remains on bail after the attack on a 17-year-old boy.
On Bank Holiday Monday, a 17-year-old boy from Cardiff suffered a serious leg injury during a stabbing at Barry Island. He has since undergone a life-changing leg amputation.
Traders criticized the lack of police presence on the busy Bank Holiday Monday, describing the scene as a "free for all." Louis Rees, owner of Barrybados, argued the beach must return to an alcohol-free zone.

An 18-year-old man from Riverside, Cardiff, arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent remains on bail pending further enquiries. The victim continues receiving critical care at the University Hospital of Wales.
