Man who stabbed 10 people on train said 'I am the baddest', court hears
Jurors heard Williams admits some charges but disputes intent, while prosecutors say he attacked 10 people on a train and others in Peterborough.
On Monday, Anthony Williams, 33, faced trial at Cambridge Crown Court for 14 counts of attempted murder stemming from a Halloween weekend stabbing spree last year.
The 'rampage' began October 31 in Peterborough at Ritzy Barbers, where Williams attacked customers before targeting a 17-year-old boy on a Docklands Light Railway service in London hours later.
Witnesses described Williams playing 'spooky Halloween music' from his phone while shouting 'I am the baddest, no-one is as bad as me,' behavior passengers said left them feeling unsafe and intimidated.
Ten passengers were stabbed on a London-bound LNER train that made an emergency stop in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, with victims including train worker Samir Zitouni.
Prosecutor Chris Paxton KC told jurors that while Williams accepts responsibility for the attacks, the trial centers on whether he possessed the specific intention to kill.
