Sen. Ted Cruz casts lone no vote on election reform bill as it passes committee

Summary by Ground News
The Senate Rules and Administration Committee passed the bill on a 14-1 vote. Cruz was the only Republican on the committee to oppose the bill Tuesday. Bipartisan reforms would make it harder for members of Congress to object to presidential election results, as Cruz did after President Joe Biden was elected. The Texas Republican called the bill "bad for democracy" and said it "reduces the ability of Congress to respond to the very serious problem of voter fraud."
