After 142 years, it's over: Now TDC starts shutting down the landline

It will start ringing out for about 430,000 telephone and internet subscriptions when TDC Net closes the first ten centres on the landline network, which has been a central part of communication in Denmark since 1882, before the New Year. By 2030, an era will be over.
