The judge of the Electoral Dispute Tribunal (ECT), Juan Patricio Maldonado, reduced the suspension of political rights against Eduardo Franco Loor and Augusto Verduga, former councillors of the Council of Citizen Participation and Social Control (CPCCS), members of the so-called ‘Blue League’ and reduced the penalty to one year.
The Electoral Dispute Tribunal (ECT) has issued a resolution that significantly reduces the political sanction imposed on former councillors of the Council of Citizen Participation and Social Control (CPCCS), Eduardo Franco Loor and Augusto Verduga. The measure, issued by Judge Patricio Maldonado on Friday, October 17, decreases the suspension of their political rights.
