TC Energy Reports Q3 Profit up From Year Ago, Raises Outlook for the Year
TC Energy lifted its 2026 comparable EBITDA outlook to $11.8 billion to $12.0 billion and sanctioned about $6 billion in new growth projects.
On Thursday, TC Energy Corp. reported higher third-quarter profit and revenue, raising its 2026 comparable EBITDA outlook to $11.8 billion to $12.0 billion from prior guidance of $11.6 billion to $11.8 billion.
Sanctioned capital projects now total approximately $6 billion this year at a weighted average build multiple of 6.5 times, including the Crossroads Expansion and American Midwest projects adding 1.4 Bcf/d and 1.0 Bcf/d of capacity respectively.
Approximately 98 per cent of comparable EBITDA comes from rate-regulated assets or long-term take-or-pay contracts, ensuring low-risk, highly visible growth across North America's integrated energy infrastructure.
The Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.8775 per common share for the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2026, equivalent to $3.51 on an annualized basis, payable Jan. 29, 2027.
Comparable EBITDA is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of five to seven per cent from 2026 to 2031, driven by anticipated North American natural gas demand growth of approximately 51 Bcf/d through 2035.
