Taylor: Chase Still in Concussion Protocol, Higgins to Be Limited in Practice Wednesday
- On Wednesday, Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor confirmed star receiver Ja'Marr Chase remains in concussion protocol, while Tee Higgins participated in a limited capacity during practice.
- Both receivers sustained injuries during the Bengals' 22-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, Oct. 4, forcing the team to navigate evolving depth challenges at the position.
- With Andrei Iosivas on injured reserve with a thumb injury and Colbie Young battling a knee injury, the Bengals' depth is significantly tested, leaving Dohnte Meyers and Mitchell Tinsley as primary healthy options for quarterback Joe Burrow.
- It remains unclear if either receiver will be available for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins, as Taylor continues evaluating their progress daily leading up to kickoff.
- Taylor said, "We will make it work and emphasize the guys we think will be available," signaling the team's adaptability despite significant personnel challenges heading into Miami.
