Suspect arrested in Onslow County shooting, charged with first-degree murder of wife
A man accused of shooting his wife has been captured. Investigators with the Onslow's County Sheriff's Office said they arrested Michael Cornelius Watson off Gurganus Road in Richlands. Investigators said Watson has been on the road since Thursday after deputies found his wife, Shatina Marie Watson, shot and killed at the couples' home on Huffmantown Road outside of Richlands. Shatina Watson was found shot to death in her home in Richlands.
