Police have launched a preliminary investigation into suspected election fraud in Järva, after the suspect in a leading article in Svenska dagbladet. At the moment, a total of five cases of suspected election fraud in the Stockholm area are being processed. "The other four incidents occurred elsewhere in Stockholm," police spokeswoman Nadya Norton said.
The investigation currently open in Sweden for alleged irregularities in the parliamentary elections of 13 September is up to six, while the examination of the controversial case of Mohamed Abdukardir Ali, candidate of the Party of European Socialists continues.
