Superior Court Judge: Open Public Meetings Act not followed in police chief matter

Summary by Ground News
Bradley Beach Borough Council did not provide enough notice of a special meeting that would have enabled disciplinary proceedings against former police chief Leonard Guida. Superior Court Judge Owen C. McCarthy said the short notice of the meeting did not comply with the Open Public Meetings Act that requires a notice to the public of 48 hours. Guida's attorney, Charles Uliano, challenged the emergency meeting.
