The new DC Comics universe will continue after the success of Superman with another film about the Kryptonian hero, or rather heroine. The Man of Steel's cousin - Supergirl - will appear in a somewhat grittier tale of revenge, directed by Craig Gillespie, and set to hit theaters next June.
