Super Bowl champion Seahawks sign veteran offensive lineman Bobby Hart
Hart brings 108 games of NFL experience and 75 starts as Seattle adds depth before mandatory minicamp.
On Monday, June 8, the Seattle Seahawks signed veteran offensive tackle Bobby Hart to bolster their offensive line room. The team waived undrafted rookie wide receiver Levi Wentz to clear space on the 90-man roster.
The 31-year-old Hart brings extensive experience, having appeared in 108 career NFL games with 75 starts. He spent the 2025 season with the Los Angeles Chargers, playing in 10 games with eight starts.
Scheduled for mandatory minicamp from June 9-11, the Seahawks bolster offensive line depth with Hart's arrival. The unit returns every starter from last year, including left tackle Charles Cross and right tackle Abe Lucas.
Following an OTA injury to starting right guard Anthony Bradford, the signing addresses depth concerns after Bradford left practice last week with a minor knee issue. Christian Haynes assumed his repetitions during the absence.
Seattle has prioritized adding veteran competition to roster edges this offseason as part of its championship-contention strategy. This low-cost depth move provides insurance against injuries while building a functional group for training camp.
