About 16,000 spectators and 1200 carnivalists took over the streets of the capital of l'asperge, Hoerdt, on Tuesday 17 February on the occasion of the traditional Herrefasenacht (carnival of lords). A colourful edition with nearly 80 musical bands and tanks all more original than each other.

The 74th edition of the Hoerdt Carnival closed this Tuesday with a colourful cavalcade and a rain of sweets and confetti. The sky, graciously, spared the 1,200 carnivalers and the 16,000 spectators who came to applaud them and be gently shook.
