Person Shot Inside Parked Tesla in Delta
Police say one person suffered a minor injury after shots were fired, and investigators are seeking dashcam footage from the area.
On Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026, at approximately 4:33 a.m., the Delta Police Department responded to a shooting in the 10600 block of 64th Avenue near the Highway 91 on-ramp.
Emergency responders found a victim inside a parked Tesla with an UBER sticker who sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital in stable condition.
Investigators noted several bullet holes in the Tesla's windshield and two on the passenger side; a grey Kia Forte was identified as the suspect vehicle fleeing the area.
The 10600 block of 64th Avenue remains closed in all directions as the Delta Police Department actively investigates, believing this is an isolated incident with no ongoing public risk.
