Student-Led Effort Leads to Upgrades

(Oldenburg, IN) – A project that began with a vision from Oldenburg Academy students is now providing a new recreational opportunity for residents of the Village of Spires and the surrounding community. OA students Emily Schebler ‘25, Maria Voegele ’25, and current senior Kira Sims, under the supervision of Jason Walke, led a grassroots fundraising effort to revitalize the recreational area at Maypole Heritage Park.
