STT lacks justification for reimbursable drug prices, sees risk of abuse

Prices and purchases of pharmaceuticals and medical aids have legal gaps regarding the validity of the price, doubts and undeclared communications between decision-makers, says the Special Investigation Service (STT). The STT, after analyzing the risk of corruption in this process in the State Hospital Treasury (VLK) and the Ministry of Health (SAM), claims that the identified shortcomings pose a risk of possible abuse.
